Poetic thought

A long range gun in my father’s car ten years old and playing hard, he smirked at me and said you slip the gears.

He would hunt that radio dial and I would add down every mile till the station of tunes came in bright.

There was a radiant harmony tone on the tuner it knocked me in the gut, it clattered my soul, makes you love, leaves you swinging on every road.
